2021 YEAR IN REVIEW: ADVANCING THE CENTRIC BRANDS PHILANTHROPY MISSION
December 30, 2021
As 2021 comes to a close, we are thrilled to share the ways our partners and teams came together to support and uplift the communities where we live and do business.
Below are a few highlights of how we advanced our philanthropic mission this year:
- Divisions across Centric Brands donated over 53,000 units of product to organizations in need. This included children’s clothing, school uniforms, backpacks, women’s and men’s apparel, and cold-weather items. This year we were also proud to partner with Amazon, for a first-of-its-kind philanthropy initiative, to donate 5,000 uniforms and cold-weather items to Sheffield Place, a women’s homeless shelter and the Kansas City Public School district.
- Centric Brands associates volunteered over 376 hours throughout our 10 Days of Giving initiative. Each global office partnered with local charities to package and prepare meals, run holiday gift drives, decorate local parks and charity facilities for the holidays and wrap presents for those in need.
- Centric Brands supported 40 global, national, and local nonprofits, as well as retail partners, in their missions to do good. Some of our partners include: American Red Cross, Delivering Good, Glam4Good, Girls Inc., Partners in Health, The Trevor Project, WHEDco, God’s Love We Deliver, Covenant House California, Toys for Tots, Moisson Montreal, Batshaw Youth and Family Centre, AuthoraCare, Family Success Center, among others.
- In total, Centric Brands contributed over $768,000 in monetary and product donations throughout the year.
We are proud of what we have accomplished but understand that there is more work to be done. We are excited to continue to expand our corporate social responsibility platform and make an impact on our local communities.
