Can you tell us about your role and what your team does?

In my role as a Sales Assistant within the European Handbag Department, I have a diverse set of responsibilities. These encompass implementing sales strategies, cultivating and sustaining customer relationships, overseeing existing accounts, and pursuing new account opportunities. The overarching goal of my team is to optimize sales and margins, advocate for and elevate the visibility of our brands, and foster relationships with our valued customers.

What do you think is the most important skill needed to be successful?

Flexibility, adaptability, and fluidity are essential for a successful career. It’s critical to stay attuned to the constantly evolving and dynamic economic market, shaped significantly by cultural and social trends. By leveraging adaptability, you can create brands that resonate with consumers while maintaining high commercial value.

What do you enjoy most about working here?

I am fortunate to be surrounded by highly talented individuals whom I am consistently eager to learn from and collaborate with. Our work environment fosters creativity, constructive collaboration and productivity, making it a delightful experience to be a part of.

What’s something surprising that not many people know about you?

In 2022, my two friends and I embarked on a journey in Bogota, Colombia, and Argentina where we drove a total distance of 20,000 km. Throughout this remarkable journey, we raised over £3k for Nuestros Pequenos Hermanos (NPH), translating to “Our Little Brothers and Sisters” in Spanish. NPH is a charitable organization dedicated to caring for vulnerable children in Latin America and the Caribbean, supporting nearly 8,000 children and young adults across 19 sites in nine countries, including Bolivia, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Peru. We had the opportunity to visit one of the centers in Peru where we witnessed firsthand the incredible impact this charity has on the lives of these children. This unforgettable trip spanned almost a year and was the most amazing experience of my life.
