Finding Her Place in Beauty
When Haley joined Centric 2 years ago, she wasn’t just starting a new role — she was stepping into a category that instantly sparked her curiosity. She remembers how welcoming the Beauty team was in those first weeks, and how quickly she felt encouraged to jump in. But what pulled her in most was the product itself. Beauty felt vibrant, imaginative and full of possibility.

One early moment helped everything click: her very first buyer meeting.

Getting to see how strategy, creativity and relationship-building all came together was an eye-opening experience that revealed the full scope of the business.

Watching ideas turn into decisions — and decisions into product — gave her a glimpse into the kind of work she wanted to do. It set the tone for her career journey ahead.

Navigating the Fast-Paced World of Beauty
Today, as an Associate Account Executive supporting all off-price accounts in the Adult Beauty department, Haley manages everything from order processing and pricing to new line development and weekly buyer meetings. Every day brings something new, and she thrives in the fast-paced, collaborative nature of the work.

“What energizes me most is seeing our products come to life. Being able to collaborate with my team to grow the business and getting to watch ideas turn into something exciting and successful has been so rewarding.”

The beauty category moves quickly, and Haley has learned that success requires both adaptability and strong communication. Being able to pivot on the fly while maintaining solid relationships with buyers and teammates has been key to navigating the constant evolution of the industry. It’s a lesson that has proven invaluable as she’s grown in her role.
