CENTRIC BRANDS PLEDGES OVER $1M IN PHILANTHROPIC SUPPORT FOR 2022 PROGRAMS
Established Centric Cares program; including in-kind donations, corporate donation matching, employee volunteer program and philanthropic committee

NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–In celebration of National Volunteer Month, Centric Brands LLC. (“Centric” or the “Company”) has announced the launch of Centric Cares, a first-of-its-kind social impact program for the organization that creates a dynamic structure for associates and partners to more meaningfully engage with targeted philanthropic causes. The Centric Cares initiative includes monetary and in-kind donations, a corporate match program, employee volunteer opportunities, and the Creators for a Cause series to encourage associates across the company’s offices to harness their creative skills to give back to the communities where they live and work.
With three central pillars of in-kind/monetary donations, volunteer programming, and a soon to launch employee donation matching program, Centric Brands has designed an approach to corporate social responsibility that builds on the company’s mission-driven work to date supporting global, national, and local nonprofits. In addition to partners including National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), Foreseeable Future Foundation, Dress for Success, American Red Cross, Learning Ally, Haitian Americans United for Progress (HAUP), Delivering Good, Save the Children, and the UN Refugee Agency, Centric Cares works with over 40 local partners in cities where they have offices, including NYC, Montreal, Greensboro and Los Angeles, with partners including WHEDco, God’s Love We Deliver, Moisson Montreal, Family Success Center, and Covenant House New York/California, among others.

The Centric Cares initiative also ensures that its associates are at the center of its social impact efforts. The Be Giving committee is a volunteer group of associates dedicated to driving the philanthropic spirit and efforts at Centric Brands. In addition to identifying causes important to support, the committee serves to form stronger relationships with partner organizations and to create volunteer opportunities. The Be Giving committee also created a Centric Cares hub on the company’s Intranet that includes a volunteer portal which lists all volunteering events across each office and includes an instant sign-up link to participate and an in-kind donation form which makes it easy for divisions to donate excess product to partners in need.
In addition, Centric will launch Creators for a Cause, an internal product series that will leverage the company’s creative and design teams in support of timely issues. Creators within Centric will design limited-edition products available for purchase exclusively by Centric associates. All proceeds from Creators for a Cause will be donated to a partner organization connected to the issue at the center of the product. For the month of April, associates will be able to purchase a variety of handcrafted stuffed animals made of deadstock denim in support of Earth Day designed and handmade by members of the Marketing/Creative team. Proceeds will be donated to The Nature Conservancy. In support of Pride month in June, a colorful canvas tote bag with the stylized words “Say Gay,” was designed by a designer from the Accessories division. Proceeds from the tote will be donated to the It Gets Better Project.
