LEADERSHIP SPOTLIGHT SERIES: AN INTERVIEW WITH SUI TSANG
July 22, 2025

In our Leadership Spotlight Series, we are highlighting executives across our Company who are driving innovation, transforming business practices, and positively impacting the communities where we live and work.
Sui Tsang, Senior Director of Finance, Centric Brands Europe, brings a thoughtful, growth-oriented approach to leadership—one rooted in team building, cultural diversity, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Eight months into her Centric journey, Sui was given a rare opportunity: to build her team from the ground up. “It was amazing,” she recalls. But she’s quick to add that it’s still a work in progress—one that evolves as the business grows.
“We’re still building, but what we’ve already created is a team that’s connected, curious and committed.”
Her focus has been on creating an environment where people feel comfortable speaking up, share ideas and learn from one another. As a result, collaboration has deepened, knowledge-sharing is constant, and her team is learning to solve problems together in real time.
Leading with Purpose
Sui’s leadership is grounded in one core belief: improvement is always possible. “I seek continuous improvement in everything I do,” she says. It’s a mindset that shapes not only her own work, but also how she supports her team—by encouraging them to take ownership and pride in the work they deliver.
This commitment to growth shows up in the way she manages shifting priorities in a fast-paced business. As Centric expands in Europe, Sui is focused on building the right team structure and refining processes to drive both productivity and collaboration. She’s also partnering closely with U.S.-based colleagues to learn from what works and tailor it to local needs—adapting, not duplicating.
Building Stronger Connections Across the Business
As a finance leader, Sui works closely with teams across functions—from design and sales to operations and logistics. These cross-functional touchpoints give her visibility into how the business runs day to day and where improvements can drive the most value. “It helps me stay connected to the broader picture,” she says. “Finance doesn’t operate in a silo—we’re partners in moving the business forward.”
Staying close to the work—and the people behind it—allows Sui to better anticipate challenges, share insights, and support more effective decision-making at every level.
Staying Focused and Recharged
Outside of work, Sui carves out time to reset and stay grounded. Her weekly routine includes boxing on the weekends and yoga during the week—activities that help her stay both mentally and physically strong. She also finds inspiration in new experiences, whether it’s traveling to a new city or catching a local performance.
It’s that same sense of focus and curiosity that she brings to her role each day—continually looking for ways to elevate her team, her work and the business.
