CELEBRATING LATINX WOMEN WHO CHANGED THE WORLD: A GRAPHIC NOVEL

March 31, 2023

To conclude Women’s History Month, members from UNIDOS, our Latin and Caribbean Employee Resource Group, created a compilation of comics centered around famous women in history of Latinx heritage. The graphic novel explores the incredible lives and accomplishments of Toto Bissainthe, Rigoberta Menchu Tum, Ingrid Silva, La Lupe, Calypso Rose, Rita Moreno and Kathrin Barboza Marquez. These women are ballerinas, singers, actors, activists, and scientists and changed the world with their art, grace and discoveries.

Members of UNIDOS used a variety of mediums to construct their pieces, including fine point pens on paper, collage out of construction paper, ink, colored markers, and Photoshop.
